Here's a pic of my rock from brs

I got 100lbs of it. It's just two pieces (so far) that I have taken a photo of.

I really like my new rock thusfar. :-)

I was going to order from Marco rock. But they were out!
So it was suggested I order some from brs and I chose this rock. I'm happy to know that you're glad you chose them. :-)

Price-wise it was about the same, maybe a bit less.
I can't say about any other comparatives as I haven't had any Marco rock. But maybe someone who has had both can comment. :-)

i bought 33 lbs of base rock from my LFS to put on the bottom, which is mostly covered by sand now and 25 lbs of LR to put on top. Now that all the base rock is seeding i am looking for more base rock to seed that looks nice so that's why i'm looking at BRS and Marco rock. Right now Marco rock has an edge because they are 2 1/2 hours away from me and i can save on shipping. But your rock does look nice.

when you say precycled does that mean all it needs is a rinse and you can put it in your DT??

oh you lucky thing. If I were you I'd check out the Marco. That's what I would do if I were in your position. When you get some let us check it out, I live looking at pics of their rock.

Lily your rock looks just like the 50 pounds of rock I got today for my tank. Only thing I see different is my rock looks alittle more white. I'll take some pic's and post it in a day or so. Nice looking rock.

Same here.
Even though it is said that we can just toss 'em in with no worries, what's been suggested to me is to keep them circulating in brute containers in some sw (ro/di), and a mag pump for many weeks. Take them out every few weeks, rinse them off well, go at 'em with a wire brush, rinse, add back to container of new/changed out ro/di sw.
Repeat this process in another week or so.
Etc., etc.
Since I have time I'm gonna follow this advice. Seems a natural thing to do regardless.

I have an eerie feeling that my ro tap is gonna need a pressure booster.
But I'll cross that road when I get to it soon enough. :-)

That suggestion is for live rock. This rock is ready to drop in the tank. I rinsed mine and threw it right into my tank.

You should seed this rock with some coralline algae and other goodies from Indo Pacific Sea Farms. That's what I did.
