my susmp
20L with three sections. One for skimmer a eshopps psk-100, one for fuge, and one for return. The skimmer and fuge section are both 9" in width. Enough room for a sand bed and LR rubble. The eggcrate on top of the smaller piece of acrylic to keep the cheato out of return. It will go over, under, then over again through teeth into the fuge area. One small question, the skimmer itself sits about a quater in above the bottom of the tank when hooked to the pump, can I just place a piece of acrylic under it to even it out? |

Your water level is going to be high in the skimmer section. How many inches of water is your skimmer supposed to run in?

Many people have had issues with that skimmer not working due to low/high water level I would try for 8-10 inches of water.
