I believe it is a Berghia Nudibranch. He looks hungry. If so they only eat Aiptasia. Without that they turn white and will die in 7-9 days.

he had little green spikes on his back. haha and a sharp tail or backend that looked like a stinger. yet somehow looked friendly

Check out your tank at night. Nudis are generally specific to what corals they eat and hide in it during the day. If you have one you probably have more.

Although it looks similar, I don't believe it's a Berghia Nudibranch. Unfortunately, I believe it's a zoanthid eating Nudibranch.
