macro lens

i dont know much about photography and i want to take nice close up pic's of my reef i have a nikon d5000 and im looking for a macro lens could someone with some experience point me out to one that would be good for reef pic's my buget is about $300 thanks in advance

I took some 2 minutes after I took it out of the box.
No tripod, no knowledge, no skills, no problem!
