Sumps problem

Ok I have a little problem looking for some help/ideas

I am currently trying to run two seperate sumps on a non-drilled 135g aquarium

I have two overflow boxes on sump one...which feeds into sump two via a mag 9.5...sump two has one overflow box directly feeding it and has a mag 18pumping water back into the display...the main problem is that for sump one I can not get the mag 9.5 output to match the input of the overflow boxes...

I need suggestions one how to better obtain equilibrium..currently I am justing using ball vavles and the number of u-tubes as variables...

any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks
Zack

pics might help but right now I'm picturing that the tank has three overflow boxes? and three different pumps moving water? Man, i'm no genius but that seems like alot of potential failures.

I also think that with the growth of slime you will be in a forever adjusting scenerio.

Again, pics might help to attract the "pros" into responding.

It has 3 total overflows and two different pumps...

I was thinking that maybe a horizontal float switch could be used?

I cant take pics unfortunately no camera....

or manage one sump with an over flow, basicly, your tank over flows into one of the sumps then that sump over flows into the second sump, where the water is pump up the the display again

I agree seeing how gravity has a far less percentage of failure then a pump. I just see future problems if either pump fails the other is going to cause a flood.

you could definately still use the float switches (highly reccommend if you are going to use multiple pumps) but as mentioned, i still think you will be constantly adjusting as flow rates are going to be +/-.
