shallow tank question
I was looking through the classifieds on kijiji when i came across a tank for sale that caught my eye. It is a 3 sided starfire 8 foot tank. The dimensions are 96 x 18 x 18. It is already drilled for drains and returns. The person is asking 375 bucks, which seems like a great deal. Anyway, for those of you with short tanks, do you ever wish you had a deeper tank? should i jump on the deal?

No experience, but that is a tank shape I am thinking about building. I'd be all over that deal. If you do get it could you update this with the make/model details if there are any?

i would love to work with a tank like that. there's a tank in the diy forum here that is a real long shallow tank that is just amazing to look at pictures of. i can't think it isn't even more stunning in person.
