Fermosa unit
I purchased a used 55-gallon setup and it came a pretty beat up four lamp JBR Fermosa unit. All the bulbs are out on it and it looked like it had 1 50/50, 2 10ks, and 1 65-watt Actnitic bulb. I have not been able to find out too much information on it, but it looks like I will spend at least $100 on bulbs and it needs some legs too.
I am questioning whether it is worth investing in the lamps for it, or buying a new unit. |

New unit...if it's pretty beat up and has no bulbs, you'll be better off getting a new fixture...

In a 55 Gallon, do you think I need to go with a four-bulb unit or will a two-bulb unit suffice? In the future, I may want to include some SPS in the tank.
