lux meter?
will a lux meter give me a good assessment of my halides ver. a diy led I built? I have access to a lux meter but not a par meter and was curious if it would be worth my time to test.

Unfortunatly I don't think so since its more about a how much light your putting out in a specific range. There are plenty of lights that can put out very high lux readings but low PAR numbers.
That said, if you have access to one, it can't hurt to give it a try. At least you have something to work with. |
