2 ID's please
The one on my return pump is right near the screw on the right. I have quite a few of these in my sump in all different sizes. Its like a thick/sponge tube with sort of a feather duster that comes out of it. It doesn't however retract when you go near it.
The one on the rock looks like some sort of spongy web covering a hole. I know they are bad pictures but any help would be great. They might just be sponges but not sure. Thanks. Last edited by Kfig7; 06/16/2010 at 10:07 AM. Reason: forgot something |

The first pic is a pineapple sponge, the second pic.....I don't know.

The first is a q-tip sponge & the second is a sponge. Both are harmless filter feeders.
