Mystery Frag?
I attended BAYMAC in May and I purchased some nice frags. I forgot to make a note of what this frag is. Can anyone help me i.d. this one?
I can tell you that this coral loves mysis shrimp and it's a voracious eater. The color of this coral is turquoise green and the area around each mouth is blue. The tentacles are short and they are always extended. Aside from the i.d., if you have any info on what light conditions and parameters are best for this frag please let me know. Thanks for your help!

I have the same coral. Its just like a fungia with many mouths. Can't remeber the name of it though. Currently in low flow and low/mod light.

Oh cool! I love fungia plate corals! Thanks for the info!!!
Do fungia plate corals need to grow on a flat surface horizontally? Right now I have this frag tilted in a somewhat vertical position with good flow. It's under a 250w 20k metal halide about mid-way in my 65 gal. tank.

a slight tilt / is ok, but horizantal with moderate flow is the best. vertical is a no no.

@The Reef Expert: Thanks for your help. I'm going to relocate this fpc to the bottom of my tank on the sand now that I know what it is.
@betamed: Thanks for your help!
