bottle trap for crab....

I made a bottle trap out of a 2 liter bottle to catch a crab that i want out of my DT. after you flip over the top half of the bottle you cut and invert it upside down into the rest of the bottle. how do you keep the 2 halves attached? Do you use duct tape? super glue?

Also what should i bait it with some shrimp? crab? lobster?

I've got a hitchhiker in my rocks too. Will be burying a jar in the sand tonight and baiting it with half a feeder fish (my local LFS happily gave away for free some pre-deadened feeder goldfish ). Never attempted this before, I hope I catch the thing before it grabs one of my yellow clown gobies.

A raw pice of shrimp worked as bait for me. As far as attaching the halves of your trap... silicone, but you have to wait for it to cure, superglue should work, of you could just use plastic zip ties for instant gratification
