Adding LED's into a T5 fixture????

Has anyone tried adding any of the LED strip lights into their T5 fixtures? I have a 6x39 Current Extreme and I was thinking of adding some of the strips into the fixture somehow. Although I'm worried if it will be to much heat from the T5 bulbs onto the LED's.

Nice, was that in a enclosed fixture? Or was it open? Mine is enclosed and thats the heat part I'm worried about.

It is an enclosed fixture with the help of 2 x 120mm and 4 x 80mm (Redwing) PC cooling fans. You could see the fixture housing next to the bulbs in the first picture.... No ill effects to the LED due to ample airflow....

tahiriqbal, do you think 4ho t5 39watt powered by an icecap 660 plus 2x 12 bulb led module strips would be enough for 48''x18'' x 24'' 90 gallon? Currently, I have1 large carpet anemone, lots of zoos, and a few softies in 40 g with just t5. Once upgraded to the 90 g, I would like to try some hard corals. Each t5 has an individual par reflector.

Not sure, how to answer your question since I don't use this T5 fixture anymore or have much knowledge on T5 subject. You will get much better answer if you ask this question in Lighting, Filtration & Other Equipment forum here on RC and thread name is T5 Q&A thread.
