400 gph 10g mixed reef

Well I guess I'm just wondering if there is such a thing as to much flow.


Stock list
Znia
Red and green candy canes
Green mushroom
And a couple different species of zoanthids
1 faults purcula

That should be fine. As long as the corals dont react negatively and/or sand doesnt blow all over, no such thing as too much flow. I've done 1200GPH in a 10 myself Wiz

I needed 1200 since it was a QT for SPS.

Right on I can understand that. I have been in the hobby for about a year and a half with FOWLR tank. Just reciantly added coral. That would be the half.
I'm just paranoid I guess. When my power head is on my zinnia just looks like its getting beat up. Not that it reacts badly
I'm just being worrisome I think.

I would recommend moving the xenia, from my experience it likes indirect flow.

I agree with that statement but with my 10gal I don't have much real estate to work with
