QUIET ONE PUMP (Lifeguard Aquatics) - CUSTOMER SERVICE
when I first had my tank built a couple of years ago I wanted a good submersible pump and after doing some reading I decided to purchase a Quietone 6000. I purchased it from Dr.Fostersmith.com. Well unfortunately my tank took 2 years before I put water in it....when I recently filled my tank and completed all the plumbing I found that my quietone 6000 pump did not work. I took the impeller cover off and found that I had a broken impeller. I wrote to quietone's company and they told me they only offer a 60 day warranty on impellers and would not help me.
I understand their warranty but you would think they would want to give thier customers a positive experience. Anyhow, I have a brand new broken pump. Has anyone here had problems with broken impellers on their quietone pumps? I'm curious if this is an on going problem with the pumps and this would explain why they would not want to replace my impeller. On a positive note, they did respond back to my email pretty quick. I'm still waiting to hear from a supervisor though. Thanks all! |
