20H lighting input?
I'm narrowing down my lighting options for a new setup I'm designing. I'm downgrading from a BC29 to a custom 20H which will be mostly DIY.
The more I look and research lighting, the more I can't decide. I've narrowed down my decisions and would like some input from more experienced reefers. I'd prefer T5's that'd support some beginner SPS at higher levels in the tank. So far, I've narrowed it down to these few light fixtures: 1. Current USA Nova Extreme Pro T5HO 20" w/ "hanging kit" http://www.marineandreef.com/Current...FSL6iAodjjA9oQ (both fixture and hanger are in the link) 2. Tek-Light T5HO 24" http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/group/5034/product.web 3. Sundial T5HO 24" http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/group/3959/product.web Listed in the order of interest. I'm not too excited about the mounting I'd need for the Nova Extreme, but... we'll see. Maybe I can be talked in/out of it. I'd like to keep the price range between $200 - $300, but if you have other suggestions, please tell! I wanna hear them. |

Out of the three listed, I would choose the 4x24w Tek. Coupled with high-quality bulbs, it will allow you to keep anything you'd like.
