Help with light?

I am getting a TEK 36" 4x39 high output fixture and i have no idea on what kind of bulbs to get for it.I am going to be keeping soft coral and maybe some LPS in the future.

The 4x39w Tek is a great choice for a 40BR, you will grow Softys & LPS with ease. The bulb combo depends on the "look" you prefer, but the following combination seems to be pretty popular: (2) ATI Blue Plus, (1) KZ Figi Purple and (1) ATI Aquablue Special. Hope this helps!

No problem! RC Sponsor ReefGeek.com has a great selection of bulbs. Good luck!

Another question do you have a picture or video of this setup that you can show me?

With all of the bulbs fired, it would look similar to the picture below. With only actinics (Blue Plus) on for dusk/dawn, it will be bluer.

Good reco Johnny.

I wold throw in that I run that exact combo above and I am not very fond of it. The ATI Aquablue washes out colors for me. I am replacing it with a KZ New Generation bulb. It will add more blue and less yellow which I am after.

I also have a KZ Superblue on the way to see what that looks like compared to an ATI Blue Plus.
