where do you get your fish/inverts online?
where? im looking for a good variety of fish. im particularly interested in eels, triggers, tangs, angels.
another question is about protein skimmer air stones. i know the air stone ones are not up there with the water pump driven ones but still. im experimenting. i know most recommend wood air stones but the store im looking at doesnt have wooden ones. could it be replaced by a sand air stone, silica or some sort? |

I usually order from Blue Zoo Aquatics, and sometimes LiveAquaria. I've been very happy with both.
Sorry, can't help with your skimmer question. |

Ebay sells the wood stones. I use a wood driven skimmer on a pico its the only filtration on it, and it works well.

those are great places. id added some of those to my list.
i seen these and are interested in them. Leopard Eel Tesselata Eel Snowflake Eel Zebra Moray Eel Yellowhead Eel Moray spotted Black Edge Moray Eel Spotted Snake Eel Jeweled Moray Eel Chainlink Moray Eel i have a 125g long tank. i was considering a snowflake eel but i might just change my mind on that. what is a more heavy bodied eel that cost less then $100 that would be fine in my tank. non pebbled tooth is preferred if you can |

Not sure on the eel's correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure my 20gh would fare well with them....lol ask around on the fish forum and I'm sure you'll get a quick reply.

I have ordered from saltwaterfish.com quite a few times. I only order when they do their free shipping on $99. You have to expect that they do increase prices when they do this.

I would probably invest in a better skimmer before you increase your bio load.

Do a search on aquaticconnection or aquacon before placing an order. There are numerous horror stories in the vendor experience forum. Tesselatas get huge and will outgrow a 125. Spotted snake eels have poor track records in home tanks.

I'd steer clear of aquacon. Liveaquaria, saltwaterfish, and blue zoo are a few good ones.

Avoid aquacon, even if they are the only place who carries what you are after. You will be lucky to get what you ordered. And if you have to return something(even if it is due to their mistake)they will not return emails or phone calls regarding refunds.
