Getting back into it - compatible?
I used to have a 125 full blown reef tank that was very successful but had to tear it down. Been about 3 yrs now and have now moved into an apartment. Have been doing some researching but just want to ask anyways for opinions. Lookin for minimum size tank for a dwarf lionfish, a snowflake eel, and possible a puffer or open to good ideas for another tank mate based on the few fish I'm doing. Looking to keep 3, maybe 4 total fish max. Will have some live rock with basic lighting. I have a lot of leftover stuff from my last tank. Have around a 25 to 29 gallon tank in the garage that my girlfriend almost threw away and I rescued that I may use as the sump. Also, I'm hoping I can get away with a 75 gallon tank max for my list. I had a 225 gallon skimmer on my 125, would that be too much for a 75? Thanks for any help and suggestions.

I don't see any problem with the skimmer. You are fine with the ell and the lion fish, but the puffer could be an issue. Some species can handle a 75, but most would not.
