Flow Overview Needed.

Can anyone recommend an article or post that has a good overview of good flow desing in a reef tank.

I've been reading various "Is this too much" type posts, but it's a bit scattered. What I really need is a some overall background and guidelines.

Thanks

I have a 150 gal with a bunch of fish, a couple of soft corals and some frogspawns. But, I'd like to do more and never put much thought into my flow.

Soft corals and frogspawn don't really require a lot of flow. I would aim for about 20-30x turnover or enough to keep the detritus suspended until it gets into the filtration.

20-30x is good for softies and LPS
50-70x is best for SPS

10-15x going through the sump and the rest is closed loop & powerheads

50-70? I'm sorry but that sounds a little high to me.
