live sand from Delaware

I'm vacationing in Delaware and thought about taking some sand just out in the surf to add biodiversity to my tank. I have only a 2 hour drive between surf and tank. I know the colder Atlantic waters and proximity to millions of people could make the sample harmful, any comments?

I live in Delaware and wouldnt consider putting any of the sand in my tank, most of the fish you find off the coast are not the typical fish you would put in our tanks, if you plan to add sand, I would personally add it from somewhere more tropical as most of our fish come from areas most likely not from Delaware.

I too live on Delaware and would not think of putting sand from here in my tank. Lol... You would prolly be better off pitting play sand in from HD.

I was considering the bacteria or microfauna that may be consitant w tropical sand. I was wondering about the e. Coli and other toxins in water near millions of people.
