sump baffles
Do you guys ever drill holes in your taller baffles in your custom sumps? That act as a backup in case your sump fills up?
And if your sump tank has a height of 13 inches, and You want a 12 inch baffle glued with a 1 inch clearance from the bottom of the tank. Do you cut it 11 inch instead because of the black frame on the glass tank? |

Are you talking about baffles for a bubble trap in your sump? If so, I'm not sure why you'd need holes. My sump is 14 in. tall and the baffles are 10 in. tall, so when the return pump is shut off and extra water floods into the sump it just goes right over the baffles.
