Jugs Jugs and more Jugs

So I think the 1 gallon thin jug from BRS woudl be perfect for each of the 2 part solution. I have my tank and stand in the living room so I perfer to hide everything under the stand. What is everyone using for auto topoff jugs for evaporation? Any suggestions for low profile large volume. Also I know some people use chest to hide the top off containers lets see what they look like....

Oh darn I thought you were talking about a different kind of "jugs". Oh well, on my aquarium system I use the large brute garbage cans with the wheels on the bottom so I can move them around when they are full.

The more I read my post ..Maybe something else was on my mind...But anyway I really want to see what everyone is using. Especially undertank ideas. I would love to use a brute but I doubt it matches the couch..

For smaller tanks I've use the Kent Marine aquadoser.

But on my 240, I use the ATO auto top off, with a 20 gallon container out in my garage and a maxi-jet 1200 to move it to the tank. It's about 10 feet away.

Thanks Mfinn for you idea's. Is the topoff a manual process meaning you have to plug it in? Any other ideas for containers and or hiding them.

I am using a C-level ATO. It holds 10 gallons and fits perfectly under my stand. All you have to do is plug it in and occasionally check to see if it needs refilling. Plus it has multiple fail safe features just in case. They are a little pricey (whats not in this hobby?) but I found mine on craigslist for much cheaper so I know they are out there. Anyway, its another option if you are looking for it and I am extremely happy with mine.

I had a custom sump built and in that sump I integrated an ATO reservoir. It holds about 15 gallons.

Get it from US Plastics instead. Holds a liter more and a lil more than half the price compared to BRS.

Ok guys I finally finished my Topoff Res. Since I started this tread I figured I would finish up by showing the finished item. I decided to go with the Tunze after reading so many reviews.
From Salt Tank

So to match my stand I purchased some standard white glossy shelving board from my local HD and built a shell to hide the Topoff container. I purchased my topoff container from Advanced aqcrylics in Ebay. I knew it was going to look so nice I might not have covered it.

Here is some FTS at this point I really suck at pictures.

Here are some sump pics.

Notice the PVC piping up the back of the tank. I did this to allow me to make the input from the topoff higher than the highest part of my container

I would love to hear some feedback of how I have disgused my ATO and wether you think this setup will work.

Thanks

Rodney

You have a nice clean looking set-up. Should work well. It would be nice if you could have ro/do water automatically fill you reservoir. You would need a float valve in reservoir tank and a line from ro unit to reservoir. Then you wouldn't have to bucket water manually into reservoir.
Again, clean set-up!
