Vertex RO/DI not producing water?
I have the 100GPD and it worked for about 3 days and now its not working. By not working i meant its not producing water anymore. The light is on for "producing water", but no actual good water is coming out. I checked all the lines and they are fine. Any suggestion?
The TDS still shows 00 PPM, there just isn't any water coming out of either good or bad water line. |

I had the same problem before and when I called the place I ordered it from, they referred me to proline aquatics to get some advice. I called/emailed them and they were able to fix my issue. The problem with mine was that the unit was assembled incorrectly. One of the tube coming out of the membrane was hooked up incorrectly. I'm no expert on this unit or anything but if you can take a picture of your unit closely, I may be able to help you. I studied the unit alot trying to get mine to work so I know how and what needs to be connected to where. You can also try contacting proline aquatics and I'm sure they are able to assist you.

Is it correct that i have my source water going into the prefilter box, and then up to the RO unit?
EDIT: I meant Source > PreFilter > Carbon > RO > DI > Goodwater Last edited by DarkSephiroth; 09/09/2010 at 11:04 AM. |

How come the prefilter box not pushing water into the carbon? My carbon slot is not getting any water at all. Bad pressure switch?

The order yo have should be correct. Pull the hose out of the switch. Maybe its not activating to let the water flow.
