Sponge question
When i put the live rock in the rubbermaid containers i didn't notice any sponge at all and about 4 days after being in the tubs , bam they where there. I'm going to be setting up my new tank and it still has to go threw the cycle stage, should i keep the sponge in the rubbermaid containers until the cycling period is done and then put them in my DT or put them in the tank while it cycles. I don't want them to die! Also should i feed the sponges anything and should i feed the bristle worms?

Just curious as to why you have a new tank cycling, but have your live rock in a rubber maid tub.
Anyway, as I hinted above, I would just put all the rock in the tank from the get go. Looks like you have some life forms in those rocks that may die off with high ammonia levels, so I would start doing water changes early. Sponges do not like being exposed to air, so transfer them in a tub with water.

My tank is not set up yet. I had to bring it back to the store because there was a chip in the bottom glass. The rock was delivered to my house the day after. My new tank will not be here until Wednesday and then i will be setting it up for the first time. Then i will have to cycle the tank. Ok thank i will transfer them over in water when the time comes.
