Nuisance anemone or something innocent?

There have been a couple of these since I set up the tank about 9 months ago, but I noticed that all of a sudden there is a little family of them. Any thoughts out there as to whether they are good or bad? I've tried to compare them to pictures on other threads and on the web but I can't get a good match. Any help would be appreciated.

I have one of those in my tank, so I am curious what it is.

looks like either a rockflower anemone or a type of palys/zoos. how big are they?

They are a type of "button polyps" --- and not any type of anemone. For the most part they are harmless, though once in a while they can spread too much.

They are anywhere from the size of a dime to the size of a quarter. They seem to spread at the base from one to the next like a button polyp, so I'm hoping that is what they are. Thanks for the input.

They are polyps, shouldnt be a problem, they can spread quickly if they are happy. William
