10K lights showing Pink

I was sent here from the newbe section. I've got a Tek Light fixture, I purchased it used almost two years ago and it was suppose to be a year old then. Anyway I put new bulbs in it about two months ago and I just noticed two of the 4 center bulbs (it's the 4 foot 6 bulb unit - the two outer bulbs are on one switch the 4 center are on another) anyway two of the 4 10K's are pink, one is very pink the other is getting there.

So, are the bulbs bad or my ballast? Anyone know how many ballasts are in this fixture? If it's the ballast what do you suggest I change them with adn I suppose I shoudl change all of them.

The new bulbs are all UVL

There will be 2 ballast in that fixture, 1 per switch. As for the pink, it would be with the bulbs and not the ballast. Are you sure they are 10K, there are a few bulbs with a pink tint to them.

Thanks B-Willz, the 4 center bulbs are all marked the same and I believe when I first put them in they were all white. I'll call the supplier and ask.

Are they actinic whites or aquasuns?
