I don't know anything about the pump.

I would suggest using a y instead of a tee. If you must go with a tee, make it a straight shot to one side of the tank and tee off of that for the other side. They way you have drawn it causes serious restriction on water flow. (been there, done that)

I would put a valve on each return side and a valve and union at the pump in case you ever have to remove it.

What type of overflow are you going to use?

FOWLR or Reef?

+1 on the above for adding the unions and valves for easy removal.

If using a bean or herbie overflow, remember that gate valves are easier to adjust.

Have your sump big enough the handle the DT overflow when the power goes off and don't rely on Check valves. The way the drawing is, you have the drains are at the bottom of the tank. DEFINITELY do NOT do this unless they are separated from the DT with a weir. 265 Gallons on the floor will not be good!

Is 1300GPH at zero head? If so, I think it will be under powered once you take into account head height, elbows etc.......you need to aim for around 5 x DT turn over/hour, that is of course using power heads for supplemental flow in the DT.

You need to provide a more detailed drawing and some plans for better and more definitive answers.

HTH

cheers

For a 265 I would go for a bigger pump in the 1500-2000 gph range.
Are your returns going to be on the bottom of the tank?
How are you going to stop the tank from draining during a power outage?
