where is the best place to buy a staphire tank?
hows it going, i live in northern california and i wanted to get a custom starphire tank built. i want it to be 48x48x24 with a center overflow, for a total of 240g. i also want all four panels to be starphire glass as it will be located in the center of the room. i would like to find a place in california to cut down on shipping cost. any help would much appreciated. thank you.

I live in Southern Cal. I got my starfire tank from Leemar. Excellent quality. They don't deal with the public directly. You would have to order through an LFS.

+1 on Leemar. Got a custom starfire from them through my LFS. Actually, I called Leemar and they gave me the names of several LFS that they dealt with in my area. Tank was built to our specs exactly and I have been VERY happy with the quality.

Come down to Roseville and visit Your Reef. They can order a tank from Lee Mar or Visio/Advanced Aqua. 48x48x24 will need some unique bracing, so you may also want to look into the MARS forum and look up Keith Grandt. He lives in the Sacramento area and is building custom tanks.
