Noisy OTP pumps on reactors when adjusting valves
Hi All,
I got two reef octo phosphate reactors, the 140 models, I want one to run phosphate media, and the other carbon. They fed by the reef octo OTP2000 pumps, the problem I have is that they are both noisy (extremly noisy for a pump) when you start to close the feed valve to set the flow rate they make the noise. If you leave the valve open, then they fine. Any solution? I have both reactors filled about halfway which is the normal. I checked and open the pumps on both, any sugestions? ![]() |
