Can I use antibiotics with hypo

Mi Acanthurus Olivaceous are in QT and the salinity was about 1.012 for 10 days,now for a day it is 1.008,but my fish are still iching,now they have color cheng on the skin(large spots).
One of them is ded now and the rest are eating but are very strest,swimming fast the fins are clsquized.
Can it be bacterial and can I use antibiotics?

What type of antibiotics are you talking about? Not sure if it would be wise to do both. Antibiotics will more than likely kill off the beneficial bacteria. So if you decide to do it make sure you have enough saltwater mix for waterchanges.

Back to the root of your question: What are you using to test the salinity? Why did you keep it at 1.012 for so long?

See the replies in your other thread. I dont recommend using meds with hypo.
