Water Change Time?
Here are my parameters:
Temp: Constant 79 for months pH: 8.4 constantly Salinity: 1.023-1.0235, down in a week from 1.024 Ammonia: 0.25 - 0.375, up from 0..125 in the last week. Nitrates: 12.5 (or 2.5 if you use the Low Range numbers on the same color block) Nitrites: 0.15-0.2 I have heard that Anemones are sensitive to nitrites and nitrates. I have a Carpet Anemone (about 6 inches in diameter) and a 2-3inch BTA. Do I need to change the water? I have 5 x 5 gallon buckets so I could change about 20% in one trip to the LFS and about another 20% in a second trip.

Lots of equipment left over from the 140 gallon tank teardown. Oct 21st was a sad day. Wife said I would have to get a new wife to get a new tank. I'm sure gonna miss the wife. Current Tank Info: No tank, no fish, no coral :( |

You should not have anthing in your tank if you have any ammonia or nitrites. Have you cycled your tank or is that what you are doing now? either way any livestock should go to the lfs or it will likely die with that ammonia reading/.
