Frozen food?

I just bought some Rod's food fish only blend, and my fish LOVE it. They tear it up as fast as they can and beg for more. I just want to know if it's ok to feed them frozen food all the time instead of half dry half frozen?

The only time my fish get dry (( Spectrum pellets )) is when I am too lazy to go to the freezer. So, IMO, it is more than okay to feed them frozen all the time.

Provided your fish are obligate carnivores and frozen food provides their dietary needs, then by all means feed them frozen every day. If you have some herbivores in there then don't forget the nori and/or spirulina flake

I don't think you could sustain a tang with just that specific frozen food. They are all-day grazers. IMO you NEED a veggie clip in the tank for them at all times. My two medium tangs go through a sheet of nori a day, and I bet they would eat more if given the opportunity.

It depends on whether you have omnivores and herbivores in the tank. I always switch up the food every few days regardless.

I believe the Rod's fish only food does have veggies in it, and in general, you can due to the diversity of food types in it, you can probably get away with feeding that only. I'd still agree that it would be best to feed the tangs at a minimum a supplemental vegetarian diet, unless you have a good amount of algae for them to graze on. Either way, there's probably no such thing as too much variety, so I wouldn't worry about the ratio, but throwing in another type of food from time to time is always good.
