Energy effecient pumps....internal or external

sicce syncra and the water blaster pumps and tunze? All these have very low watt usage and good flow.

I am looking at one about 700-800gph reactors feed pump & another about 500-600gph skimmer feed pump. Basically like 22-35w for the 500gph range and like 37-48w for the 700-800gph range.

Anyone know of any other pumps....beside red dragon. Not trying to break the bank. external pump is fine too.

Maybe an Ocean Runner pump? I think they're more energy efficient then Eheims.

ideally:
winter = internal pump (so it also acts as 30W or so heater)
summer = external pump (so no energy to cool the tank down due to the heat from pump)

Above is something beside choosing the energy efficient pumps.

Looks like this is too ideal that I don't see anyone switching internal/external pump with season.

yeah probably leaning towards internal here as the added heat will be a bonus as this is in basement so save the heaters from kicking on. Also LED's planned for lights so not much heat added to tank.
