ID please

I just notice that these things are growing on my liverock. Are they harmful or useful in my tank?

Please help....

have no idea. look like shriveled shrooms but definitely can't be sure. try another picture

Looks like young mushrooms but I am not sure. See if you can get a better shot.

I have lot of white sponges on my rocks. And these black looks pretty similar to white sponge, but im not sure if there is any such things as black sponge?

I think it might be a tunicate. There's a picture in this link that looks very similiar.

Either way, tunicate or sponge, it's harmless. They are filter feeders.
