Question Calcium Reactor Media turned to mush??

I woke up this morning and my solenoid valve to my calc RX was not working. I cranked it open and still no bubbles, thought I turned it down to normal open before I left. So on the way to work I look at my apex app on my droid and decide to see what the effluent PH is and it is at 7.80 so I turn on the solenoid remotely and its working, but effluent PH is dropping very fast. I turned it off immediately but by that time the effluent ph dropped to 6.0. It then took about 10 - 15 minutes to go back over 6.5. Will this be mush when I get home or was that not long enough? Thanks in advance.

For that short duration I would think it would be okay. Medias are different, and I ran Gen-X CRM at 6.5 (it's known to be less likely to turn to mush). So based on my experiance with the CRM media the added 0.5 drop for 15 minutes would probably have minimal effects. Either way let us know what happens

you should be fine at that short of a duration (less than a day at around a 6.0 pH).
