Cool

im not sure how well those would grow corals. it says there are 15 LEDs in it and running at 16w. now if all the power was going to the LEDs(which its not the driver is drawing some of that wattage too) the LEDs would be getting 1.1w each but i think 5w for the driver is a pretty safe estimate which would mean 11w going to the LEDs which would be less than 1w per LED which means they arent being driven that hard at all. they also dont list what kind of LED they are even using so we dont know how efficient the LEDs are that is in them. for the price i would go with evils PAR38 bulb which is about the same price with 5 LEDs running at around 3w(each LED is being driven at 950mA if my memory serves me correctly) each with the bulb pulling a total of 21w. you can find these bulbs at www.nanotuners.com

thanks, mustang
but on the site:
**NOTE - 12k lamps are currently OUT OF STOCK (10/20/10). Expected availability to be determined, 2010.*

i'd do it, but can't just have the 20k's
