CLS intake & plumbing / flow ideas

I am going to use a Dart Gold pump ~ 4300gph. I have seen people use the low profile spa like covers for the intakes. Where can I get these? Also do I need 1 or 2 intakes for this size pump? Need black for the background as well.

Also considering doing the plumbing thru the bottom opposed to the back or sides? Ideas?

Tank is 66L x 36W x 24T acrylic. I will also have an OM squirt on the return and a 2 Vortech MP40's.

I would like to keep as much "hidden as possible.

So you are going to use both the Vortech's and a CL? I think this will really be great benefit to you. You'll have the best of both worlds with a wireless powerhead (at least the in tank side) and a hidden CL. Are you going to use enductors on the ends of the CL returns? I think you will only need one intake if you size it properly, if you want it hidden more then I'd think two smaller ones would be easier to hide. Then again it may be harder to hide two than one. I'm sure you've done a lot of looking in the large tank forum.

Yeah I plan both the CLS as well as the Vortech's. Both have bonuses thus why i am currently planning both. As for enductors, I will try to use a few on the CLS and see how it flows. I put a simple drawing of my plan thus far in my build thread, check it out.

Years ago, I found my spa covers here:
http://discountspaparts.com/asccustompages/products.asp

Search for GG Suction parts, for some reason I am having trouble linking directly to the part.
