Aiptasia Ate Cardinal?!?
So I woke up this morning and one of the aiptasias had a cardinal fish half eaten. These evil things... I'm not going to be getting anymore fish till they're all gone, which will be a project. Is this normal for aiptasia to eat fish? I had no idea.

Well, they are anemones. Must be a heck of a big aiptasia or a really small cardinal.

It is a large aiptasia, about the size of a large plum (with tendrils included). It's starting to encroach on a green star polyp as well, so it's about to have it's last dinner.

Oh yeah. I've seen an aiptasia eat a large cleaner shrimp before.

Could be that the fish died and ended up there. Just a thought.
