Really quick (and easy) Miracle Mud question

I know this topic has been beat to death, so I'm not asking to really debate it's worth or not.

I have a new JBJ 28g LED Nano Cube I'm setting up, with a medium (3.6g) CPR Aquafuge refugium.

I have a buddy that got out of reefing recently, and gave me a new, unopened 5lb container of Miracle Mud he had stashed in a closet. My question to you all, is should I dump it into the refugium, stick with the sandbed, or some combination?

I am quasi considering some planted macro algae in the 'fuge at some point, besides chaeto.

If you got a free container, what would you do?

1) You told us you didn't want a debate but asked debating questions.

2) If you believe it is the miracle helper that it claims then use it, if not don't.

3) I personally would just throw it away.

Haha, fair enough, I'm not gonna worry about it.

try it out, what the heck it's free. i took 3 weeks cycling my cpr with miracle mud in a separate tank with live rock before i added it to my tank. its been up for 14 months now and my tank has been doing fine. i still dose the normal cal, alk and mag along with trace elements occasionally.

The miracle was, that it was free. I used it to start a DSB and then covered it with sand.
