Skimmer foaming up more at night?

I am using a oceanic biocube skimmer on my 10G with no sump. It is placed inside my AC70 HOB filter. I got it this past weekend so it is still breaking in I think. Anyway I noticed that it foams up more at night than it does in the day why?

sounds like something is spawning in your tank.

My sea cucumber will do it every few weeks and drive the skimmer crazy.

I get more skimmate at night as well, never really see a foam head during the day...probably because im always feeding or doing something to the tank and it is left alone at night
