LET Retrofit vs Icecap Retrofit
Hi, I was wondering which is a better retrofit. Looking at reefgeek website and I came across the LET Miro-4 retrofit and was wondering are they better than the Icecap. Thanks.

LET reflectors are the best retro reflectors on the market. They beat IceCap out quite easily.
If I remember the number correctly off the top of my head, it is like 15-20% more PAR.

Has this been tested and proven?

I have the let retro and really like it. The let reflectors have a slightly more narrow focus giving them more par but nt as much spread if that makes sense. I like mine and is a pretty good value.

Tested and proven many times.
Grim has all the numbers posted on Reef Central at least two dozen times in various threads. For reflectors in general it goes in this order: ATI LET Aquactinics IceCap Tek Fauna Marin Tek and Fauna may have been switched at the bottom. ATI reflectors can be used as retros but you have to jimmy rig them a little bit to make them work.

Thanks guys. Now is the headache part, can't decide to go with the ATI fixture or save a little and go with the LET retrofit. This will be in the canopy.

Cool the bulbs properly and I bet you are within 10% of an ATI's PAR using the LET retro kit.
