Use a valve
Buy a valve. It will simplify the job tremendously versus trying to get an equivalent flow between your gravity feed to the sump and your pump from the sump. You will end up with spills and frustration.
You are probably using hoses rather than PVC pipes between your DT and sump. So buy a snakebite fitting to go into the hose, attach the valve to that, and then another snakebite fitting to go into the hose as it continues to the other end. You may have to hunt a bit at the store(s) to find all the fittings. |
