a little question...
Hello everybody, I´ve and aquarium that i´ve been using it for treating fish against ICH, how can I cleane it so I can use it again for building a new reef tank? I heard that if you put copper on a tank for treating fish, you can not use it again for reefing, is there any product that i could use? Thank you very much guys.

You can use warm water and vinegar. That's the safest way. I know some people who use a 50:50 mix of bleech and water and then rinse the tank out a number of times as well.

If you used copper products in it you can never use the tank for a reef. The copper will always leach out of the silicone and kill your inverts.

Its absolutely fine.
Copper does not leach into glass and silicone. That myth is complete baloney. Just rinse it with vinegar. Salt mix has copper in it.

You don't need to test it, it's true that it's a myth that a tank once treated w/ Cu will kill any invert in the future----just think about it--it makes no common sense.
A tank w/ LR and sand AND treated w/ Cu will have residual Cu remaining in the matrices of the substrate.
