Too many fish for QT?
It's not salt water but it's kinda the same principals when adding fish to DT or QT right? Not too many at a time and all that. So would adding three fish to a 10 gallon QT tank be too much? I wanna get about nine in the DT so I was thinking of doing it in threes. QT has been setup about a week with a filter pad from the DT.

In my opinion...ESPECIALLY in a 10 gallon tank. You should only QT 1 fish at a time.

Rosboras or glass catfish. Freshwater for now as I learn and buy the equipment for salt. I still want to put them in a QT first.

Sorry I did not realize you were asking for freshwater...I don't know anything about freshwater.

Rasboras can be put in at once, as could glass cats. For freshwater you probably want to try a freshwater forum though, maybe http://www.tropicalfishforum.net/.
Keep in mind that many freshwater practices don't translate to salt water well. Jeff |

J Murphy you should be fine adding the three fish those are small guys. The catfish can grow to 1.5 inches, and are really fun to look at. Fresh water fish are very forgiving of water conditions and stressfull conditions. You could probably add five of the glassfish and wait a week than add the rest. Freshwater tanks are not as biologically critical as saltwater tanks. However you do need to take caution not to add to many of them otherwise your tank is much more susceptible to Ich than saltwater fish. Ich is an easily spreadable disease and it attacks when fish are really stressed. When adding your new fish also add a stress coat product to your tank it will ensure that you get best results. Good luck, glass fish are pretty sweet.

Thanks for the info. I just want to be careful with everything I do. I will also check out the other forum too.
