I have...

pineapple sponges. They just started popping up. Are they ok next to my coral? There are 3 growing right next to a zoa colony.

I wouldn'tb worried unless if Spngebob Squarepants, and Squidward show up with the pineapple sponge.

They're really common and will kind of come and go in a natural cycle.

plus sponges are a natural filter,good for the tank anyway.
