H&S A150 Aquabee 2000/1 pump replacement problems

I just bought an Aquabee 2000/1 pump for my H&S A150, and the venturi part is cemented to the existing aquabee intake pipe and bracket that holds the impeller in place. I tried to use the old pipe and bracket but because the new pump is the new design aquabee it will not close, and the new bushings do not fit the old bracket.

Has anyone else ran into this problem? Any tips?

Thanks Dave
