e-lite XP and Apex AquaController

Hi there,

I'm fairly new into reef keeping (used to have a fish only marine aquarium some 15 yrs ago...coming back now the technology changed so much that feels like it's the very first time I have a tank). Am very excited setting up an Elos 70 (thanks Jesse) and will have on top of it a pair of e-lites XP.

I'm considering getting an Apex Aquacontroller 3. i know about the control limitations those amazing lights have due to patent issues, but that aside, does anyone has experience in paring it up with this controller? How does it work with it?

also wondering is if the AC3 would have a seamless full control over the e-lites once the patent situation is figured out and the control settings are unlocked without needing to be hacked or modded...
