Critique my tank setup plan

Here is what I'm planning for my next tank. LMK if I should take away or add anything to this.

SPS dominated tank

-75g reef ready all glass aquarium
-Overflow accessory kit (made by all glass)
-plumbing with flexible PVC piping (from marinedepot)
-Orca refugium/sump kit w/ skimmer & 13w light (ebay)
-mag drive 9.5 return pump
-760w light, 2x250w HQI + 4x65w PC actinic
-drip calcium w/ kent aquadose
-jbj auto top off
-tunze power head (not sure about GPH, ideas???)
-100 lbs live rock
-60 lbs sand

any suggestions are greatly appreciated. BTW, this will be my first attempt at plumbing a tank.

Go with a Herbie or Bean overflow. You be much happier in the long run.

HTH
cheers

Thanks for the suggestion on the overflow. Are they better for safety reasons, less air bubbles, or just quieter?

I'd consider drilling the tank yourself, and installing an overflow that is up higher in the tank than the typical factory overflows. The reason I'm suggesting you look into this is that the overflows that go from bottom-to-top in the tank take up more real estate, and (just IMO!) don't always look as nice when they are covered in coralline algae, etc.

-Overflow accessory kit (made by all glass)

What does this kit include?

-plumbing with flexible PVC piping (from marinedepot)

Have you priced this stuff at Lowe's or HD? Might be cheaper...

-Orca refugium/sump kit w/ skimmer & 13w light (ebay)

I searched briefly for this on Ebay without success...do you have a link?

-mag drive 9.5 return pump

Good choice, IMO.

-760w light, 2x250w HQI + 4x65w PC actinic

What brand fixture, if I may ask, are you considering?

-drip calcium w/ kent aquadose
-jbj auto top off

-tunze power head (not sure about GPH, ideas???)

I have no idea! I plan to start with two of the older Koralia 4s in my 75g, and see where they lead me.

-100 lbs live rock
-60 lbs sand

any suggestions are greatly appreciated. BTW, this will be my first attempt at plumbing a tank.
I'll point you to my humble build in progress, where you may learn more of what NOT to do, than to do! http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=1889750
