T5 + Metal Halide Combo suggestions on a shallow reef
Hi All,
I have a shallow reef with params in check. SG 1.026, 0 phosphates, 0 nitrates, 8-9dKh, 420 CA ppm, etc. Its time to swap out my DE halides and I was hoping to hear your suggestions. Water depth is 14 inches with bare bottom. I keep my Maristar fixture (2x 150w MH + 2x 54W ATI Blue+) approx 6 inches above the water surface. I have a few SPSs (purple bonzai, red planet, watermelon chalice, etc.) now and some appear to be browning out. I swapped out the T5s already but not sure which MH bulb to get. To bring out the color of my SPSs, which of the following MH should I pair up with my ATI Blue+ tubes? Phoenix 14k Radium 20k Ushio 14k Thanks! JD |
