Metal Halide HELP!
Need advice on a complete metal Halide setup for my reef tank. Looking for an attractive and quiet operating ballast and hanging fixture or fixtures for my 120 gallon 4' x 2' x 2' tank. The tank is located in my living room hence the quiet operation and attractive fixture. The tank during the winter time sees a little southern sun exposure. I have a ceiling fan mounted over the tank for cooling the tank and fixture. Current tank evaporation is 10 gallons a week. My reef tank inhabitants will be mostly frogspawn, hammer, torch corals and two anemones. I currently have four species of clownfish, 2 chocolate perculas, 1 Gold stripe maroon, 1 tomato fire and 1 saddleback, all living in perfect harmony. Tank is currently 9 months old.
Thanks for your help. |

IceCap ballast are nice and quiet, they are out of business now but they are quality ballast none the less, you can also go with pendants luminex or Icap they are both nice looking.
